What is the opposite of love? 36

posted Wed, 07/23/08

somebody quoted the following a couple of days ago on this blog and i think it summarizes the dillema of hurt well: "the opposite of love is not hate, but indifference". imagine, you have been all this years together, promised each other gold etc etc, and then suddently the other person is gone from your life, most of the time he/she doesn't even thinks about you anymore, no, not even cares about you. was not the main advice of machiavelli in the prince: don't judge people by what they say, but look at their action and the result?
