For me it was because the sexually aggressive woman had other intentions than a relationship with me. In a sense I was being tricked for some obscure reason like her trying to cope with a past relationship. I feel that most men have this experience with a woman who has pursued him. We don't love a challenge nor are hunters by nature. Men are always looking for angles to make things easier. We want to simplify things to better our chances and understanding. Another thing is that after awhile of the woman pursuing us we soon realize that nothing will come of it and lose interest. Overly aggressive woman are notorious for pulling back the attention last minuet. Women won’t admit that, so it isn't the man losing interest, it's the women not following through.
