Not trying to get into a pissing match with you about this, but why do you feel the need to try and downplay anything bad that a woman does? Next time somebody claims women don't rape or that females raping men doesn't need to be taken seriously, reference cases like this. This shit is not cute. Did you not see that some of them had to be hospitalized for penile damage? What if she poisoned those guys to death with the clonidine? What if she had some disease and burned those guys? What if one of those guys had something and she spread it among them? This was just wrong, and as usual, rather than admit it you defend the woman behaving badly.

Or the guy who raped his own daughter and kept her locked in the basement over a 25 year period and had several kids with her. What about the serial rapist in the Phoenix area who was supposedly caught but the same style rapes continued happening even after an arrest was made?

What this woman did was sick and horrible. And the guy who thought it was "great" needs some kind of counseling. But the main reason this story is a big deal to you is because a woman was the aggressor. Had this been a story about a male rapist, this story may well have not gotten any comments or probably not have made it as a topic on this site at all. Your "10 counts.....damn" is a similar phrase uttered by women who watch the news everyday.

Where are the questions of what the men were wearing, or how drunk they were or how they must have been teasing the woman? Even before any judgement is cast on a male rapist, there is usually speculation on what the woman must have done. Where is that speculation here?

And this woman is from Russia? So you mean women from other countries can commit psychotic acts?

As for the crime...they say that the most attractive have the least confidence in themselves, so even if the men found her attractive, she didn't see it in herself. This was her way of gaining some power and so she resorted to raype. Much like women who speak out against rape by men say, why couldn't she get a man to love her, why did she rape?

This woman was wrong for what she did. Raping even one person is a serious crime. The fact that she did it at least 10 times before getting caught makes it even more serious. There's nothing funny about this, but as usual you come in here trying to act as if it's no big deal what a woman does because someone somewhere did something worse. Minimalization of women's bad behavior. All the things you cited about men raping people, are examples of henious crimes as well and they deserve the maximum sentence allowable, as does this woman. But surely this case can be discussed without deflecting the attention to other situations. You seem to be trying to tell me "this is nothing you should see what men do". The women read an online ad placed by the director, Joseph Brooks, applied for the audition "and thought this was their chance to become a big star," prosecutor Lisa Friel said.

Instead, once the women were in Brooks' Manhattan apartment, he plied them with wine and forcibly raped them or used threats and coercive behavior to make them have sex with him, prosecutors said.

The scrawny Brooks, 71, denied the accusations. He pleaded not guilty in Manhattan's state Supreme Court, where he was arraigned on a 91-count indictment charging him with rape, criminal sexual act, sexual abuse, assault and other charges. He faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted of first-degree rape.

Justice Charles Solomon set bail at $500,000 bond or $250,000 cash bail and gave Brooks until Thursday to post it. The judge told Brooks not to leave town without letting the court know.

Wow, where is that rationale when it is the woman who has been violated and becomes pregnant? First and foremost you'd probably want the agressor to make the woman subject to a paternity test is my guess. You are the first one to holler and scream about double standards when they apply to men, but you either keep mum or are at the forefront of those double standards when they apply against women.

Woodsmen, you really do men a disservice by saying things like this. It is probably difficult enough for men to come forward, but knowing that they wouldn't get support from other men just because the woman is attractive probably makes it that much more difficult. It is far more traumatic than you think it is, and the aggressors physical appearance does nothing to diminish the shame and hurt a situation like that can cause. You may want to rethink your stance on that.
